Special Education Paraprofessional K-2 

LCSD #7 is in search of an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional. Assisting grades K-2 at the Fremont/AD Hay Schools, grades 3-6 if needed. The projected start date is ASAP. FTE 1.0. Hourly Range $17.62 - $19.73. Open until filled. 

Preferred Qualifications:

 - CNA experience preferred

Special Qualifications:

• Experience working with students in a school setting
• High School Diploma
• 2 years post-secondary education or Workkeys Certification
• Desire to work with students needing additional support

• Patience, understanding, and empathy coupled with persistency in improving student performance

• Ability to work collaboratively with Special/General Education teachers and parents 
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
• CPR / First aid Certification
